Harnessing the very latest innovations in print and surface texture technology to deliver superior realism akin to natural wood, Malmo™ Senses shows how far vinyl flooring has come to be able to mirror the look and feel of nature’s products and combine that with the technical performance of a man-made material. This has opened up wide potential for use throughout the home and revolutionises the vinyl flooring market.
Malmo™ Senses is among the first rigid LVT ranges to launch in the UK with a registered and embossed surface texture where the surface texture of the material is embossed with the pattern replica of the woodgrain, resulting in perfect register with authentic veining and grains to the eye and to the touch.
The 12-strong Malmo™ Senses collection also offers excellent functionality thanks to its rigid construction and stone Polymer core, which ensures it is completely waterproof, R10 slip resistant, resistant to indentations and will not chip, crack or scratch.
It is one of the few brands on the market that is suitable for use with underfloor heating and is the very first to pass UK performance testing by industry body Exova BM TRADA for its use with a water-based underfloor heating (UFH) system. This has extended the design potential of the Senses collection for use in the kitchen, bathroom or any room in the home. Its versatility is enhanced by the fact it is also easy to clean and maintain and is relatively sound absorbent, so much quieter underfoot than stone or hardwood equivalents as well as warmer to the touch.
Malmo™ Senses features design-led designs that reflect the latest trends in the flooring market, spanning a breadth of colours ranging from dark warm tones, through to classic oaks, on-trend greys and whitewashed effects to complement a broad range of decors from traditional spaces through to contemporary schemes. In addition, the unique Brada multi-width designs reflect the look of reclaimed wood with textured realism and colour variation across random plank widths and lengths for superior design scope, but with all of the convenience of easy to fit rigid vinyl flooring.
Malmo™ Senses offers easy installation due to the advanced Välinge 5G click system, which was the first licensed click system launched in the hardfloor market. This makes it fast and easy to install with push down end joints offering extra stability. It offers a 1mm underlay and thicker wear layer of 0.55mm compared with the wider Malmo™ Rigid range, enhancing the standard warranty to 25-years for domestic use and 10-years for light commercial use.
